Olympus Automation attracted a great deal of interest in its End of Line Solutions technology at the
recent Foodex in Birmingham.

A large number of visitors took the opportunity to see demonstrations of an End of Line system on the Olympus Automation stand, and to discuss their particular needs with the Olympus Automation team of technical experts. As a result many of these informal discussions have now turned in firm enquiries and we will soon have news of orders placed.

The End of Line system on the Olympus Automation stand featured the QX Hawk, the world’s first imager with fully integrated liquid lens technology. The wide angle lens of the QX Hawk allows close-up monitoring of product and a larger field of view enables far greater accuracy and reduces unnecessary line stoppages by packaging that is correct, but slightly out of position on the conveyor.

Olympus Automation End of Line Solutions ensure that product packaging information and coding is correct on all products leaving the factory. It eliminates costly product withdrawals that can be caused by incorrect date, label information and packaging.
